We have made it to part 3, or should we say book 3(?) of The Black Bird Oracle by Deborah Harkness. Things are happening fast and we have a plot to finish.
Join us in Chapters 21 & 22 as we discuss family trauma, descriptions of teaching magic, use of kids in stories, favorite theories from the trilogy, and Diana’s emotional intelligence (or lack thereof).

Next time we will be reading Ch. 23 &24, which puts us just a hop and a skip from the end of the book. We will be releasing several companion episodes after our chapter discussions, in which we will discuss plot, pacing, character arcs, characterization, themes, tone, etc.
